BushBaby Safaris is a family run company that has been registered since 1999, but has been trading for much longer. We are all registered tour guides and take great pleasure in showing off our very diverse array of fauna and flora, along with the many other attractions  Southern Africa has to offer.

We offer tours in the following countries South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia.

All the tours shown on this site are private tours. So in other words it will be your tour and as such feel free to ask for any changes you want. You can make it longer or shorter, change anything you like and as long as we feel that we can still do the tour, we will be happy to make the changes, and adjust the price accordingly.

The tours are advertised as guided tours which will include a qualified guide and private vehicle. Should you prefer to self drive please let us know and we will happily adapt the tour to make it a self drive. 

Our meals are done in various different ways. Some are done by leading restaurants, while others are prepared by the lodge staff or even our highly trained guides. Meals are done to try and reflect the areas culinary delights and are never pre-packed or served in the vehicle.  Food is not only our speciality but our delight.  We are masters at ensuring that our country's culinary delights are an integral part of the tour, without it being too overpowering.   Food and beverage often makes up part of our scheduled tour, as is the case with our Cape Town tour, which includes visits to our country's famous wine lands as an example.  We have done tours of Southern Africa where the main focus was on food and beverage, so although you will not find it on our normal list of tours, why not enquire about it.

Types of accommodation vary depending on the tour, but our normal type of lodging would make use of very good B&B's, or when possible we like to make use of accommodation in national parks.  However, wherever the tour takes us, you can rest assured that we will ensure that our clients are always very comfortable - after all that's our business. We can modify any of our tours to make them fit your budget from huts with shared ablutions to 5 star lodges with all the trimmings.

Before arrival all our guests are sent a form to be completed, which will outline any likes and dislikes, as well as important information like medical conditions.  We believe this attention to personal detail to be one of the major differences between ourselves and our competitors.

BushBaby Safaris offers our clients small unique tailor made tours and safaris that are designed to meet your needs, without breaking the bank. All our tours are guided by registered and very competent guides.  As our tours are tailor made, we only accept "single booking groups". i.e. only you and your family or friends will be joining you, as we will not market the tour to fill empty seats, unless arranged with you.
