Join private guides Andrew Rae and Pierre Duval, photographic guide Andrew Goodall and animal behaviourist Prof. Peter Neville on a journey to the edge of the world; a voyage following the route first forged by Shackleton himself to a frontier few ever see and explore... Antarctica! Due to its incredible remoteness and weather and temperature extremes Antarctica is one of the last pristine wilderness landscapes left. This expedition is not just a visit to the Antarctic Peninsula but a hands-on immersion into the ecology and conservation of the region with a specific focus on the Earth’s most colossal marine mammals... whales. Great Migration Special -Oct 2020 to March 2021.Due to the closure of global tourism, we have spoken to the lodges and arranged a never to be repeated reopening special. We have added an extra day to our standard Great Migration tour and still managed to almost halve the price. Don't miss out on the amazing special. In fact I would say that Feb and March are my two favorite months to see the migration as they are down south and slow down just a little to have their babies. This February we managed to get a complete birth of a wildebeest along with several others, where we caught just the last few moments but got to see the babies talking their first steps.
Predator action is always special, and in many ways this should be called the Big Cat Safari. For more information about the trip, download our brochure or email admin@bushbaby.co.za now to secure your space on this once-in-a-lifetime special.
