As our customized tours are tailor made, we accept "single booking groups". i.e. only you and your family or friends. We will not market the tour to fill empty seats, unless arranged with you.
The province of KwaZulu-Natal has a rich history, especially when it comes to colonial and tribal warfare circa the mid 1800’s to and early 1900’s. Most of the battles that occurred in South Africa took place in the midlands regions of Kwazulu-Natal. At the time, this was the domain of the Zulu kingdom, situated in the Nongoma district, the heart of Zululand (today still the home of the reigning monarch.)

A frontal attack by defending British infantry supported by artillery drove Boers from a hilltop position in Dundee, but the British suffered heavy casualties including their commanding general Sir William Penn-Symons in the process on the 20th October 1899. |
